faelingboy:
if you go to a tattoo parlour and you see something you like on the flash sheets, get it.
if you see someone with a piercing and you think, ‘wow, I’d like one of those’, get it.
if ‘everyone’ (a subjective perception) has the infinity symbol tattooed somewhere but you want one too, whatever your reasoning for it, get it.
if you’ve wanted blue hair forever but then half of your school dyed their hair blue, dye it anyway.
if you’ve only realised you wanted blue hair (and tattoos and piercings and a record player and a bag of pot) because someone else got it first and made you realise you liked it, then go forth and dye (and obtain those other things too).
if you want to look like anime, go for it.
if you want to look like a Barbie doll, go for it.
if you like Lady Gaga but everyone you know hates her, blast her music at full volume and dance.
if you like feather boas and glitter and Velvet Goldmine but your parents disapprove, bide your time, you’ll be out soon.
if you want something, you deserve to have it.
"I like the curve of a ballerina’s foot. I like when boys are passionate about something and care about their mothers. I like poems about coffee and fucking and love. I like when I’m on the highway and I make eye contact with the person speeding next to me. I like when I’m in the city and I see someone taking pictures of skyscrapers; with their necks arched back and their eyes lost in the view and their mind on something wondrous. I like drinking wine with friends and vodka with strangers. I like when my heart feels full even if my wallet is empty. I like when people hold my hand or lift me up. I like when someone offers me something- anything…Their advice, to pay, their love, a hit. It’s a good feeling to be excited for the future and proud of your past. To speak to someone new and genuinely impress them. To leave something better than it was before. To be charming just by being yourself."
"Don’t wonder why people go crazy. Wonder why they don’t. In face of what we can lose in a day, in an instant, wonder what the hell it is that make us hold it together."
